Chihao Yo was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He works with language, code, and systems as mediums and subjects of critique. He struggles to tackle social structures and ethical values in his work as an advocate for justice and good life for all. He creates alternative models for discourse and collaboration out of which he naively believes new societies would manifest. He is a self-identified “anarchist”. Chihao Yo is currently an MFA candidate in Digital + Media, Rhode Island School of Design.
Saito is a language engineer: an artist, designer, revolutionary and entrepreneur. Saito wants an independent California, as one of nine unique nations of North America. Saito is equally concerned with high-technology and anti-oppression (AI in Silicon Valley and the water shut offs in Detroit). Saito produces site-specific multi-disciplinary art-works at sites of political contention. Light graffiti in urban areas that address technology and the commons. And bot-graffiti that intervenes in the burgeoning world of machine to machine communication.
